Google’s New Mobile-First Indexing May Have eCommerce Implications

Having mobile specific pages is definitely not good enough anymore, and now, having a responsive design may not be enough, either.

As the article says, “The overall trend is clear. Google wants fast-moving, mobile friendly, and mobile content-rich pages. Follow these practices, and page rankings will improve.”

It’s hard to keep up with search ranking changes, but they are exactly what drives an improved web experience for everyone online. There’s no end to the continuous improvement trend, either.
